Varsha Bhat

Varsha Bhat is a public speaker, storyteller and founder of Aging With Dignity (AWD) - a podcast and growing platform dedicated to healthy aging, caregiving, brain health and knowledge mobilization.

With a professional background in technology, including executive leadership and experience in business development, strategic partnerships and relationship management, Varsha spent her career building collaborations, commercializing emerging ventures and bringing organizations together around shared goals.

Following her family's caregiving journey and the loss of both parents, Varsha transitioned her focus toward aging, dementia and the broader challenges surrounding access to reliable, relevant information. Through Aging With Dignity, she connects healthcare professionals, researchers, caregivers and community voices, translating complex topics into accessible conversations and practical knowledge for the public.

She continues to actively build her expertise through formal education and professional certifications in dementia, aging and gerontology, as well as participation in conferences, learning forums and professional engagements that deepen her understanding of emerging research and practice. Her interests include women's brain health, dementia prevention, caregiving and the cultural context of care.

Through public speaking, written articles and podcast conversations, Varsha is committed to making knowledge more accessible, encouraging informed conversations and helping bridge the gap between research, professional expertise and the communities they serve.

Varsha is passionate about advancing knowledge mobilization through strategic partnerships, education and public engagement. She hopes to contribute to EPLED by helping strengthen connections between researchers, people with lived experience and diverse communities, supporting more inclusive approaches to dementia research and ensuring that relevant knowledge reaches those who can benefit from it.
